Fall is in the air

My favorite time of the year is here.  FALL!  I love fall.  People have been claiming it's here lately because of the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, and yes that means fall, but not the weather is here.  It's hard to say it's fall when there it is still 80 degrees out.  Yesterday I got to wear my long sleeve shirt and hoodie in the morning.  I love that!  I am so ready for fall.  Fall in definitely my favorite season.  I get my birthday, our anniversary, Halloween and just beautiful trees and weather.  I don't think I could ever live somewhere with out seasons.  I am a midwest girl through and through!

My Fall Bucket List

Go Apple Picking
Make home made applesauce
Make an apple pie
Go pumpkin picking
Carve pumpkins
Play in the leaves
Have a Bonfire and roast hot dogs and make smores
Drink Apple Cider
Eat Apple Doughnuts

And Of Course... Drink a Pumpkin Spice Latte! :)

What are your fall plans?

  1. Awe! I just said to Claire the other day "I wish we could go apple picking." We traded in the apple orchard for strawberry fields. Fall makes me miss Illinois for sure.

  2. Ok I am so strange I do not like PSLs. But I love the other fall spice flavored ones though! It was actually 58 here this morning!

  3. Great Fall bucket list, I need to make one of those! I can't wait for apple picking, going to the pumpkin patch, and hayrides!

  4. I think I'll just steal your list! Sounds pretty good to me! Oh, and eat apple fritters at our local Apple Harvest Festival (I yearn for those delicious treats all year, and it's almost finally here).

  5. I love your list! Right now we are still waiting for baby, so I don't know how much I'll be doing this year. I have had a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks, made some at home, and made pumpkin chocolate chip muffins...they are so good! :)

  6. Living in Trinidad we do not experience Fall. We do see a few trees changing colors ... but nothing like some of the pictures being posted on blogs these days. I do love the rich color and transformation of the world.... for me its a sign that Christmas is coming.
I am following you now and would love a follow back.
