What happens when you cross a zombie and a ninja

You get my life!!

Penny is the biter! She has always made zombie noises from a tiny tiny age, now she has added the biting. I have to watch her like a hawk, poor Ben is all bitten up. She even drew blood the other day. I'm not even sure how I should handle this. I mean she is only ten months right now.

Ben is the ninja! I have set up a corral in our living room to try and keep them in one room. Somehow Ben always finds his way out. He has a silent determination and always finds the weak spot! Sometimes him and penny even team up. The other day Will found Penny under the pack and play pushing it up with her legs while Ben crawled under it.

Heaven help me! These two certain keep me on my toes. They are changing so much do fast. I love watching them, but I am always exhausted by the end of the day. Can't wait to see what's next!

Pool time!

I am loving getting these babies out and watching them experience the world. Today Will and I took them to the pool in our apartment complex. They loved it! We played and splashed all morning. I really wish I could take them more often but there is just one mommy and two babies so unfortunate I can't do it as much as I would like. So this is a warning, if you come to visit us bring you suit and take a baby, we're going for a dip!

Happy birthday Will!!

This year some of our celebrations have changed. Do to money and time constraints (plus two new additions) we fine ourselves doing different things. So in years past for Will's birthday we would have gone out to a nice dinner and given a nice present, maybe even had some friends over for a few drinks. Boy have times changed! Instead this year we picked up Will from work and we went in a little family picnic. The babies love playing outside. Penny loves to eat the grass, we try to stop her, but it always happens. Both of them like to swing, but Penny is a bit more of a dare devil. I really enjoyed our time together. I get to spend time with the babies out side a lot during the day, but this was Wills first time. It was really fun! It really is the little things!

Cinco de Mayo

This is one of our favorite holidays in this house. I know that's funny to say because it not really a holiday, but it is our longest running tradition. Will and I have always made a Mexican dinner and drank margaritas ever since we got together. So this was our 4th celebration. This year the babies joined in with their first Mexican food experience. They seemed to like it, which is not surprising because it was all I craved when I was pregnant. I wanted Mexican food all the time everyday.

Up up and away

I can't believe how fast they are all growing up. Penny is cruising the furniture and getting awfully speedy with crawling. Ben pulled up the other day. I tried to get a picture of it but I wasn't quick enough. He was trying to get the cat. He loves Lennon. Penny doesn't really care too much about the cat but Ben is crazy about her.

We are getting busy with a mommy group which had been nice for babies and mommy. Today we went to the park. I forgot my camera but they love to swing. Next time I will get some cute ones. They are fun to take places like that right now, a lot of work but fun. I am ready for summer!
