There's something special, and almost magical, being up at that time of night when the house is still, and there's no activity outside. It's just quiet and peaceful – just you and your little one.

I loved getting him back to sleep, and then just looking at him, and breathing in that wonderful newborn baby breath.

Unfortunately, at 14 months, the middle-of-the-night feedings have mostly lost their charm. But there's something to be said for someone who can cuddle you back :)

Thanks for reminding me of this special time, and congrats on your beautiful little boy.
Andrea @ http://www.modernrags.comAndreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00319224420650651824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2627538108935439592.post-3819277683190292452014-11-24T14:04:58.387-06:002014-11-24T14:04:58.387-06:00Love this post. Our Baby #2 is due in the Spring and I will be thinking many of the same thoughts you just wrote. There is something precious about being there, nursing your baby in the wee hours of the morning... so much bonding (and total exhaustion)! and I totally remember dozing off while I was nursing my son :) Good memories that will be re-visiting us in not too long!

Congratulations on your handsome boy! He sure is a cutie.
Amy @ http://www.livinglifetruth.com/Amy Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05683913769197406757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2627538108935439592.post-79182980798116730172014-11-20T11:46:00.238-06:002014-11-20T11:46:00.238-06:00Oh yes, it's so weird how you end up missing t...Oh yes, it's so weird how you end up missing those MOTN feedings!
